The newest
addition to the office is David Eckhardt a board certified Physician
Assistant.
David was
born and raised in the Denver area. David was asked how got
into medicine and stated, "I first became interested in medicine in
college when I got my Emergency Medical Technician training. At that time
I was studying to be a science teacher. The next semester I changed my
career path to medicine." David graduated from University of Colorado.
After completing his training at the University of Colorado Child Health
Associate program he worked in the Emergency Department. He worked a small
pediatric office before joining Centennial Pediatrics.
He was
asked why he chose to work for Centennial Pediatrics and stated, "I like
working in a small office where I can get to know the patients." David is
most interested in adolescent and sports medicine.
In his off time David enjoys camping, backpacking, and snowshoeing. He
loves to travel and will be going on a medical mission to Niger at the end of
this month.
When you
see David ask him about his unusual pets. He will give the following hints:
Smaller
than a mouse
Furry
Have six
legs
The office
is excited to have David at Centennial Pediatrics and feels it is another way
to offer you the care you deserve.
